Assistant Professor - Government and Politics
John McCauley is Assistant Professor of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010. He has a B.A. in Economics from the College of William & Mary and an M.A. in International Relations from Yale University.
His research interests include African politics, religious and ethnic politics, informal institutions, and field experiments in social science.
