Program Coordinator and Executive Assistant - The Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development
Brittany Kyser was selected as the Program Coordinator and Executive Assistant for the Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development in October 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a certificate in Middle East Studies from the University of Mary Washington in 2012 and also studied abroad in Jordan as an undergraduate. In 2014, she earned her Master of Arts degree in Iranian Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Brittany has held internships at the Middle East Institute, American Enterprise Institute, and the Journal of Shi'a Islamic Studies. She studied Arabic for four years and Farsi for two years and has travelled extensively throughout the Middle East.
