Program Coordinator and Executive Assistant - The Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development
Brittany Kyser was selected as the Program Coordinator and Executive Assistant for the Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development in October 2014. In 2017, she also became the Coordinator for the University of Maryland Critical Issues Poll. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a certificate in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Mary Washington in 2012 and also studied abroad in Jordan as an undergraduate. In 2014, she earned her Master of Arts in Iranian Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Brittany has held internships at the Middle East Institute, American Enterprise Institute, and the Journal of Shi'a Islamic Studies. She studied Arabic for four years and Farsi for two years and has traveled extensively overseas.
