Assistant Professor - Government and Politics
Kanisha Bond received her Ph.D. in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University in 2010. She previously received an M.P.P. (International Development and Crime Policy) from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute in Washington, DC in 2004, and a BA in International Relations and Spanish from Bucknell University in 2002.
Her research interests include the organizational ecology of violent extremism, civil war dynamics, links between sub- and transnational conflict and cooperation, and the politics of Latin America and Southern Europe.
